Improved Windows 8 transfer rates…take a look!

Windows 8 is the latest operating system engineers from Microsoft are working on. While news of Windows 8 developments are still in the process of unfolding, Microsoft has been in a way taking big steps on the online front by actively launching Office 365, a new cloud computing service for both small and large businesses.

It is also in the process of promoting Office Web Apps, its new SkyDive feature and Azure as ways of collaborating with Windows 8 Cloud environment in permanently reducing your IT overhead and hardware investments.

Microsoft Support explains that working in its new Cloud environment means that you can virtually, for example, work with your team by being at home using the online versions of tools that can keep the process running smoothly in the face-to-face world. This can include real time communication, team meetings, task assignments, project management, file libraries and even workflow and reporting options.

Microsoft also adds that Windows 8 will engage its Cloud feature directly but the operating system will support app-to-app sharing. And as such, the convergence is likely underway.

Faster Windows 8 Transfers?

Most of us are already familiar with the adjustable (slow!) transfer process in Windows 7 operating system and prior.

Well not anymore.

Windows 8 will natively support USB 3.0 which aims at allowing users in accessing and transferring files up to 10 times faster than that as supported by USB 2.0.  Which might be good news to a lot of you and it hopefully means that you will have to spend very less time standing in front of a room waiting for your presentation to load.

Microsoft supports that its new Metro Interface will bring a radically different and fresh look for Windows 8 and its operating system. With Live Tiles and touch based gestures replacing active icon buttons for mouse clicks respectively.

For the whole idea behind it was to transfer programs, applications, file and folders or any other type of content easily as compared to all previous versions of Windows which required us to go through nested menus and folders.

And so to finally conclude, keep your fingers crossed for Microsoft and its Windows 8 operating system just might be the next best thing.
